In my case `Locale current` always prints <b>en-PT</b>, instead
of the current Italian. If I run `locale` on the terminal I get:<br>

LC_NUMERIC="it_IT.UTF-8"<br>
LC_TIME="it_IT.UTF-8"<br>
LC_ALL= </blockquote>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Changing the locale is of no use; I still get <b>en-PT</b> both
in Dr. Geo and in the latest Cuis.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Evaluating <b>Locale new primLanguage</b>, I always get the
null-terminated ByteString 'en'.

<div>Something similar happens in Squeak but the locale there is
interpreted as <b>en-US.</b><br>
