<p>BTW, in "Styled Text Editor Documentation" it still says:</p>
<p>Font import<br>
Styled Text Editor uses Cuis' good looking antialiased bitmap
fonts. These can be imported using the code from
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://github.com/KenDickey/Cuis-Smalltalk-SF2-Import">https://github.com/KenDickey/Cuis-Smalltalk-SF2-Import</a>. The class
StrikeFont then includes code to import such fonts from files.
There is code for Pharo which allows to create such files from
TrueType fonts using the Freetype plug-in.</p>
<p>This is so outdated that it hurts my eyes.</p>

<p>Hi Bernhard,</p>
<p>I checked the update #7721. At that point, in the
base image, the object stored in the 'formattedText'
instance variable didn't change during formatting (it
is still that way). So there was no need to ask for it
again. The other two methods changed in #7721 were
modified not to call #convertedAndStyledText.</p>
<p>Do you think it is still needed for StyledTextEditor?
Reintroducing it will make styling in STE work ok?</p>
<p>Thanks,</p>
