[Cuis-dev] Mechanisms for FFI

Hi,

I was just thinking about of how better FFI could be done.
The existing frameworks squeak and cuis has is tailored to
C/C++, is blocking the image, requires more boilerplate code,
crashes the whole Smalltalk image when a segfault occured
and is not really fast.

What are current ideas or solutions to handle this?

I think there should be some kind of PluginMaker package
for generating plugins and shipping them as a proper
cuis package.
