[Cuis-dev] Annotations and other minor tweaks

This change set includes some annotation tweaks, for example it avoids
printing extra spaces or separators, and uses always the little circle as
separator. It also includes a preferences to show annotations independent
of optionalButtons (I've found out that I don't use very much the optional
buttons so I want to have the extra screen real estate, but I need the
annotations), and a new shortcut (z) for reverting to the selected version
in the versions browser.
