You'd be able to type _ or :=, and by default you'll see either 
leftArrow or :=. But on save, it would always become :=. This means that 
the next time you go to that method it will read := unless you turn on a 
preference to show ALL assigments as leftArrow.

Preferences to show ALL assignments as leftArrow or := are already in 
Cuis, btw.
