[Cuis-dev] On the style of communication on this mail list

Hi Folks,

I’ve recently received private messages concerned about the tone and 
style used for discussion on this mail list. My first reaction was to 
acknowledge them but say nothing in public. But later I thought that 
some comments may be useful.

The Cuis community is a group of like minded and well intended people 
building and sharing common assets. Free speech is a basic right. People 
may disagree on any matter, and it is OK to express that freely. 
Discussion on this mail list has always been in a reasonable tone and 
good manners. Therefore we never had the need to censor anybody or to 
establish a code of conduct. I hope all, or at least most, of you agree 
with this. I also hope we keep it this way.
