Testing ...

Besides the issue of ctrl combinations (see other mail) producing ctrl+alt

there is another issue: The placement of the key strokes editor window.

I have

    Display extent  1920 at 986 .

and the window is placed on the right hand side of the screen with about 
60% of the width visible. The rest is shifted out of the window.
