Can I modify the current theme? I don't see a way to do that. Maybe I have
to create and use a new theme.

In any case it sounds like all buttons will then have the same label text
color. I can change the background color of each button to something
different, so that seems problematic because I can't choose a single label
text color that will look good with every button background color.
