Allow me to introduce myself. My nickname is tuLithu, and my programming background is in Scheme and FORTRAN. I have only begun exploring Smalltalk.

Due to physical problems, I use a virtual keyboard. Unfortunately, Cuis is not getting the input stream, and so I can't type into the workspace. Any suggestions?

Try starting the VM with

./RunCuisOnLinux.sh -compositioninput

If virtual keyboard is visible you can key in from it. I observe issue
to make the keyboard visible from Cuis though
