Agreed. That doesn't mean you have to generalize your design upfront, but
it would be a good idea to keep in mind even while you're exploring.

Other things I'd consider:
- shortcut presets (plural!), and how to apply and combine them.
- local vs global vs contextual
- how to handle conflicts
