with Color ~= Color transparent ?

if color transparent -> no shape (and only icon highligh when pointer 
hover button)

if color non transparent -> shape

May be I don't understand the whole problem, nevertheless I will avoid 
at all cost to have an extended protocol with #iconPlusButtonShape:, 
#iconOnly: #icon: #labelPlusButtonShape: etc.

It will be cumbersome.
