Hi folks,

I have been told the Cuis mailing list has mostly 200 subscribers! It
sounds as interest in Cuis.

Cuis is a free software project developed since 25 years by Juan
Vuletich and a small community of contributors. We all take benefit of
this neat Smalltalk-80, highly funto use for small projects and also
bigger ones. Juan is always open to suggestions to improve Cuis in a
direction that fit personal interests. For example, when I told Juan I
want to port DrGeo to Cuis I asked him if VectorGraphics could be made
faster. I know he worked countless hours on several iterations to make
this happen, first with OpenCL then finally with the VectorGraphics
plugin. I gave back to Cuis by working on the "The Cuis book", every
day, aside work, for 15 min, 30 min, sometime 1 hour while I could have
lie down on the couch becoming stupider every day.

I wish it is time for you subscribers of the Cuis mailing list, to give
back as well to this project!

There are no small or large contributions, there are only contributions
people are willing to do and each contribution makes a difference. There
is no excuse to not give back.

Each of us can find a way to give back to the Cuis community. The ways
of giving back are beyond the imagination.

Few examples

  * You are using Cuis in a project, find a place and write an article
    about your experience.
  * Post on your preferred social network about Cuis
  * You like sharing video, make ones about Cuis.
  * You find a bug, misspelled or missing comment, contribute a changeset.
  * There are tiny or small projects itching you, do it with Cuis and
    share your experience about it
  * There are unexplored technical territories in Cuis, explore it with
    Cuis and share your experience
  * There is a package you want to see in Cuis, find ones on the
Smalltalk community and port it, then share your experience
  * Your are new to Cuis, ask and write questions for help, then write
    about it (Hello Mark)
  * You are an expert in one domain, apply it to Cuis and tell about
your outcome. Visual arts, music, linguistic, AI,...
  * Continue this list ad nauseam...

So please stop lurking and give back something!
