Hi Hannes,
The project has three main parts:
1) little signal processing objects like oscillators, samples, filters,
envelopes, delays, etc, that can be put together to build synthesizers or
audio effects;
2) a dataflow programming environment in morphic to patch them together
(little boxes joined by wires, similar to the ideas of Pure Data or
Reaktor); and
3) a tracker (similar to the Amiga trackers and Renoise) for sequencing
these things and making music.
The last couple of weeks I’ve been working exclusively on the tracker and
UI, and I only got it to make sounds again today. And the sound plugin is
not stable, so I was writing a new one with FFI but I havent integrated it
yet. So I’ll just show whatever is working at the moment of the meeting,
maybe just some sounds and fun animations (not a proper song yet)… and I
hope it doesn’t just break during the meeting, and that audio output is
properly transmitted with the screen sharing.. we’ll see...
