[Cuis-dev] Setting author programmatically

Apologies, Hilaire. The preferences were actually removed when clearing 
them.

I just pushed a few updates and updated image. Now, the preferences will 
always be there, and set to '' (empty string) if author not set.

This should fix the issue.
