This looks very cool.

About the short dash vs the mathematical minus (and also the centered
asterisk vs the upper asterisk), I proposed that change in an attempt to
make code look better with the default font, because we use those symbols
in code as arithmetic operators (and not much in text as hyphens or as
references to footnotes, wherethe origibal glyphs are more adecuate). We
can change back to the originals if others want to, not a big deal, it’s a
sort of hack anyway…

Perhaps, if you fix problems in existing code (like drawing outside of
bounds as you mentioned), you could send the fixes to this list? I also
made lots of modifications to the GUI over time (implemented a different
kind of window manager with tiling, virtual desktops/pages/screens,
different type of taskbar/statusbar, etc). I implement that as external
packages, but I contribute fixes to the base image. I don’t know what Juan
and the rest of the community think about including AI generated code, but
personally I think I would welcome bug fixes.
