[Cuis-dev] Are dead keys available in Cuis under Linux ?

Hi folks,

Recently i started to use dead keys to type: à,è,ì,ò,ù,ñ.. this
is quite cool. Today i started to type like that also in Cuis and observed
it does not work. Is there some simple way to make it work ?

This would be cool because when I don't have dead keys,
i write e.g. "è" as "e'" and I disturb the string literal parser,
then i need always to double quote as "e''", which is quite ugly.
