Hi Aik-Siong,

It looks like in Pharo9 was introduced a message to define new class 
without pool dictionnary.

Therefore, in Class add this method:

Class>>subclass: aSymbol instanceVariableNames: aString 
classVariableNames: aString3 package: aString4     self         
subclass: aSymbol         instanceVariableNames: aString         
classVariableNames: aString3         poolDictionaries: ''         
category: aString4


Then you can file in your file
