[Cuis-dev] Performance hit after latest changes?

Did anyone else notice that dragging windows around quickly feels a bit
more laggy and smooth compared to before changes 5201/5202? I'm on Windows
11. The Transcript is the window where I'm noticing this most.

Maybe I'm imagining it, but I tried before and after the changes and I'm
pretty sure there was somewhat of a hit.
