Warm thanks to Vanessa and Dave to take time to explore the issue.

Of course, in the mean time, I converted the picture to PNG, because 
there is no more reason to use BMP. Nevertheless, your fix is still 
useful because there are possibly other implication elsewhere in Cuis.
