Damnit. German Arduino was a good man and a good engineer. We weren’t close, in that we never met. But throughout our conversations, it was clear that we were on the same side. He went to my defense when the company that bought my startup laid me off. Tried to boost my LinkedIn profile, when I still had one. When I needed his help, he was there.
We’ve lost a good man. All the more reason that we should continue this expedition.
German is now free from concern or suffering, and I will celebrate that on this night. One thought: is there a part of Cuis we can name after him? He was one of the earliest contributors, after all.
